When unexpected damage at your Woodland Hills commercial property or business happens, how do you know to what extent? Below we have described the grading system that SERVPRO uses to determine the level in which your property is categorized to begin mitigation.
Level 1
Small commercial spaces: typically involving 15,000 square feet or less of damaged space. Thisincludes but is not limited to, stand-alone retail establishments, small churches, daycare facilities, a small warehouse, or an administrative building. A Level 1 loss can also be a small portion of a much larger structure.
Level 2
Mid-size losses typically involve up to 60,000 square feet of affected floor space. Buildings involved are u multi-level or divided spaces. If the facility is completely affected, Level 2 losses may include small multi-family properties, midsize churches or schools, small shopping centers, multi-tenant facilities, or midsize warehouses or a manufacturing facility.
Level 3
Large losses typically involve more than 60,000 square feet of affected commercial space. The buildings involved will typically be large multi-level buildings. Examples of a Level 3 loss can include but are not limited to, hospitals, schools, or universities; multi-family properties; a mid or high-rise retail facility; industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse facility; or a shopping mall. At this level, it would be considered a “large loss.”
