In Woodland Hills we haven't been getting much cold weather but with the colder seasons approaching we start pulling out our space heaters. Space heaters are amazing at keeping smaller areas warm but there are some risks with having one. The following are some ways SERVPRO of Woodland Hills have found to help you stay safe with your space heater. 

  • Make sure you turn off your heater before you go to sleep or leave your property. 
  • Keep your space heater at least 3 feet away from anything flammable
  • Check that your space heater has an automatic shut off feature
  • Keep your heater on a solid flat surface
